The quiet Manxman is the surprise package of EF's selection, making his Grand Tour debut at the biggest race of all. Walker took the scenic route to the WorldTour — via Trinity Racing, British domestic squad Saint Piran and two stage wins at the 2024 Tour of Japan — before EF snapped him up. A strong time triallist and willing workhorse, he showed himself in breakaways at Paris-Nice and the Dauphiné this spring.

Palmarès

  • 2 stage wins, Tour of Japan (2024)
  • 2nd British national time trial championships (2024)
  • Top-5s at Ronde de l'Isard and the Rutland-Melton CiCLE Classic with Trinity Racing
  • Tour de France and Grand Tour debut (2026)
Cut-out factWalker is from the Isle of Man, the same small island that produced Mark Cavendish — and he turns 25 on 12 July, right in the middle of the Tour.
