The most feared engine in cycling arrives at the Tour in scary form: this season Ganna has won time trials at the Giro, Tirreno-Adriatico and the Algarve, taken a seventh Italian TT title, and run down Wout van Aert in the last 100 metres to win Dwars door Vlaanderen. His Giro TT was the fastest ever ridden over 40 km in a Grand Tour. In Barcelona's opening team time trial, he is Netcompany INEOS's nuclear option.
