Arguably enjoying the best season of his career, the Basque puncheur won a stage of his home race Itzulia in April and another at the Baloise Belgium Tour in June. Signed from Movistar on a three-year deal in 2025, Aranburu is Cofidis's card for the hilly finishes and reduced-group sprints — and he has never been closer to a first Grand Tour stage win.
