Decathlon CMA CGM · staff profile
Chief executive officer / managing director
Dominique Serieys

A rallying and motorsport executive brought in to professionalise one of France's most ambitious WorldTour rebuilds.

Dominique Serieys paper-collage staff portrait

Dominique Serieys did not arrive in cycling through the usual ex-rider pathway. His management career was forged in motorsport, including Mitsubishi's rally programme and the French Motor Sport Federation, with experience later spanning Paris La Defense Arena and Racing 92. That background gives Decathlon CMA CGM a distinctly corporate operating style.

He joined the AG2R/Decathlon structure during its modernisation phase and became managing director at the beginning of 2024. The team has since moved from long-running French institution to a more aggressive international project, with Decathlon's bike brand, CMA CGM's backing, and a visible development pathway through NewGen.

At the 2026 Tour the sporting story is Paul Seixas, Olav Kooij, and a young roster, but Serieys is the executive behind the platform that lets those bets happen. His job is to convert sponsor energy and development talent into a team that can matter every July.

Why it mattersHe represents the new French model: less nostalgia, more system-building.
